Strategically located between the cities of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, our manufacuring facility at Kizad offers our business outstanding access to markets through sea, air, road and future rail.

 

Kizad is also intrinsically linked to Khalifa Port; one of the world’s most advanced deep-sea ports and the region’s first semi-automated port. The integrated services of Khalifa Port and Kizad offer long-term competitive commercial advantages including exceptional supply chain efficiencies.

Having Khalifa Port at our doorstep, served by 20 major shipping lines connected to over 50 destination ports, enables the convenient domestic and international shipment of products and raw materials to and from UAE to anywhere in the world.

 

The Plant

We have invested 35 Million USD for latest state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at KIZAD, Abu Dhabi, UAE. The plant capacity is 79,200 MTPA of steel wires and strands.  The company intends to increase the capacity level to 90,000 MTPA by end of 2021.  Essen Steel is ISO certified with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 accreditations under its name.

The plant falls under one of the largest industrial promotion zone in the UAE (100 SQM) with close access to the largest port in the country, the Port Khalifa. Essen Steel facility has a land area of 564,000 Square Feet. The manufacturing machinery and equipment are from world’s reputed European and Korean machine manufacturers with brands like Mario Frigerio, Eurodraw, Witech and MLI.

Our world class in-house product testing facilities makes us one of the best Wire & Strand producers in the region, with Testometric testing machine from the UK. Our testing team puts in place stringent process on validation and SPC is practiced throughout the organization for touching each minor need of improvement and defect elimination.
